Vehicle Owners and Independent Technicians

Contact Drivyn when you are capable of completing the repair but need help determining what should be tested first, or when you want additional evidence before authorizing an expensive repair.A trouble code does not automatically identify a failed part. Please avoid clearing codes or disconnecting the battery before the appointment unless necessary for safety, because doing so may erase useful diagnostic information.

Pricing and Authorization

The initial diagnostic rate is $135 for up to one approved diagnostic hour.If additional testing is needed, Drivyn will explain why and request approval before continuing. Additional approved diagnostic time is billed at $135 per hour.Parts and repairs are quoted separately. Diagnostic testing is intended to establish evidence and direction; it does not guarantee that every intermittent or complex problem will be completely isolated within the initial hour.

Time-Sensitive and After-Hours Requests

For time-sensitive scheduling, call or text during normal business hours. Calling or texting is the fastest way to discuss the vehicle, location, and availability.After-hours service is limited and must be confirmed in advance. When accepted, an after-hours dispatch fee may apply and will be disclosed before Drivyn is dispatched. Diagnostic time, parts, repairs, and additional services are billed separately.Drivyn is not a towing or emergency-roadside provider.

Safe Service Locations

For safety reasons, Drivyn does not perform diagnostic testing or repairs:On active highway shouldersIn moving trafficIn locations without adequate working spaceIn environments that are unsafe for the vehicle or technicianVehicles in unsafe locations must be moved or towed to a suitable property before service can begin.
